Mt. Auburn Cemetery in autumn
Do look large if you have time.
When Matt mentioned early early yesterday morning how beautiful the changing trees were in the fog bells went ding ding ding in my head and I hied myself off to Mt. Auburn Cemetery for my daily walk. The colors are not yet at their peak, but the cemetery still had the full feel of fall. I'll upload other images when I've found time to process them. Couldn't resist peeking at a few. :-)
By the way, yes- this really was the odd color of those pine branches. I've never seen them that color before either but we've had a very dry late summer and early fall, with a prolonged leisurely autumn, so we're seeing all sorts of leaf patterns I've never seen before. Makes for an exciting fall for walking, if not a good one for seeing the trees come to "peak" all at once.
