Thanks to Steve www.flickr.com/photos/amblekingrat for taking me here, a place I've always wanted to see. It was a fleeting visit on a long trip with a group from the ARamblewithAmble. The light was generally rather poor with occasional splashes of silver light, but I couldn't pass it without a shot. Even in the grey and gloaming there was a huge sense of presence and history and I came away with a sense of awe and mystery, a feeling that the castle keeps it secrets tightly within. As we drove away a rainbow appeared to left of the castle. A sight I'll never forget
