Edwin Carmona-Cruz from Pangea Legal Services, talks about the case of their client, Aida, mother of 2, including a 6 month old who had been born prematurely. Aida fled El Salvador in 2012 due to extreme interpersonal threats and had been following all legal processes to be granted asylum. This past November, Aida was suddenly detained, her baby removed from her arms and remains in detention, 5 months later.
