Larnach's farmsteading, Otago Peninsula, 1960s
Larnach’s farmsteading, near Larnach Castle, was built in the 1870s and this image dates from the 1960s. The byre on the left survives to this day with some different cladding, the stables to its right are long gone, and what was left of the smaller building in front of it was on the verge of collapse when demolished in 2018.
