1975 Plymouth Gran Fury Highway Patrol 06

I love those big, black and white painted highway cop cars from the 70's starring in almost every movie from that decade that involves a car chase...and cops of course.

And I love how those cars always lose a hubcab while conering during a highspeed pursuit...:)

 

This little Highway Patrol vehicle was finished about a year ago and finally I managed to take some pictures of it.

It represents a 1975 Plymouth Gran Fury, which is almost identical to another police car - the legendary 1974 Dodge Monaco.

 

Perhaps someday I'm going to make a Mount Prospect Police Dodge Monaco conversion for those two guys on a mission from God, wearing sunglasses black suits, ties and hats, too...

 

But for now, this is just an ordinary Highway Patrol vehicle.

 

I used dark bley bricks instead of trans clear ones for the windows, because I don't like those tubes which are visible inside trans clear 2x2 slopes.

Not sure if I like the dark bley.

Also added some trim around the windows made from chromed sticker film.
