With th result I collated from my music magazine questionnaire, my targeted audience which are between the ages of 16 -28 gave me answers and ideas of how they expect the magazine to look like. For Question 1 - Majority chose r,n,b artists e.g. Rihanna, Beyonce, other r,n,b singers and Trey songz who mainly took the highest percentages. For question 2 which was about the gender of r'n'b artist the audience will like to see on the front cover of the magazine. 65% says both male and female, 15% says male and 20% female. For question 3 it asks what type of interviews they (the targetted audience) would like to see inside the magazine 82% says interview of day to day life of artist, 4% says real life stories, 5% says all of the above and 9% says others. For question 4 the question was to know if the targetted audience woul prefer a basic( white and blacK) magazine or a colourful one, 80% chose colourful and 20% basic. For question 5 it asks to choose what font style would be suitable for the magazine 20% chose the first font styl, 30% chose the second, 20% chose the third , 15% chose the fourth, 5% chose the fifthe font style and 10% chose the sixth. The sixth question is asking if the audience would like to see advertisements in the magazine 80% says yes and 20%says no. For the 7th question which asks how they would like the magazine to be sold 60% says weekly, 35% says motnly and 5% says quarterly. Question 8 was asking the targetted audience if they would like fun activities/information in the music magazine 47% wants fashion trends, 29% wants horoscopes,15% wants gadgets, 6% wants sudoku and 3% others. For question 9 the question was asking what type of language they want the magazine to be in 73% says slangs, 27% says formal although swearing was included in the questionnaire none of the targetted audience wanted swearing in the magazine so that was 0% result. Finaly for question 10 which was asking the audience for the title of the magazine that they think would suit the genre best 30% voted for Real tunez, 40% for Exclusive and 30% also on Jump!. The result from this questionnaire has made me recognise more of what my targetted audience will expect in the music magazine. The magazine will be colourful. I will be using the second font style on the questionnaire for the masthead, they will be advertisement in the magazine, the language used will be slangs, there will be fun stuff in the magazine e.g. fashion trends, horoscopes and gadgets, the magazine will include alot of interview of day to day life of r'n'b artists, the central imagae of the front cover will mainly be bothmale and female artists photographed together. The artist woul include artist such as Rihanna, Beyonce, Ciara, Trey songz etc and although the audience voted more for Exclusive to be the name of the music magazine i will not be using it has it is a common word used in all types of magazines and i feel this will make it sound boring and not very unique so i chose to take and us ethe title Real Tunez because it is not a name of any existing magazine or music magazine and this is also a very catchy name.
