Pirate City, southern headquarters of the Major League Baseball Pittsburgh Pirates, located in Bradenton, FL. The Pirates have trained in Bradenton for 40 years, and in 2008 signed an agreement to remain in Bradenton for another 30 years. The City used a state grant to help rebuild the Pirates' training fields, offices, dorms for players (above) and add lights and other amenities to historic McKechnie Field.
