Reuss Valley

The valley of the river Reuss in the Canton of Uri (Central Switzerland) is the northern access to the Gotthard Pass, one of the major transit routes across the Alps (for both motor vehicles and railways). I took the picture near Erstfeld, when hiking on the so called "Via Gottardo".
