Since moving to my house in a rural area, I've been walking in the surrounding hills for about an hour every day at sunset. Until recently, I didn't think the scenery along my route was worth photographing.
I recently got a new phone; my old one was eight years old. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the new phone's camera, so I decided to use it on my walks to take pictures of the landscape. I thought I'd do something different: point the camera at the ground, not include the sky in my photos, and let the land itself be the subject. I liked the idea and several of the results.
