mrwaterslide's Polar Bear IV

Here the legs are laid out on the top-down profile drawing. It was the worst of all the drawings. I couldn't get the head positioned correctly. The paper is obviously newspaper, and I have used a black marker to construct a one-foot grid. Then I made another sheet from typing paper with a 2" grid. I did the initial drawing on the two-inch grid, and from there it was easy enough to transfer to profile to the one-foot grid. It's hard to make out, but the grid on the back wall has a side profile---that drawing was very helpful through the course of construction. Soon after this photo was made, the boards (to which the drawing is stapled) came crashing down. The drawing ripped in several places. In fact, the drawing ripped many times, in addition to being walked-on, and scratched to shreds (by one damn cat). Whenever this happened, I took masking tape and patched it back, and redrew the lines.
