Anxious Whoopers
Whoopers are unbelievably difficult to get close to using conventional stalking methods, it'll have to be a hide job next time. The moment one sees any kind of suspicious movement, it gives a honk and all swans (120 of them today) stick their necks straight up and you can't move till every one of them puts their head down again. If you move at the wrong time, they all start waddling away from you and the whole endeavor is lost.
