A very English day
Thursday 6th August 2015. In London a massive demonstration of old fashioned English democracy in action saw a strike bring the entire London Underground network to a stand. This resulted in some rather fine old buses helping out on the bus network. Whilst up at Trent Bridge the English cricket team were showing Australia how to play cricket, bowling the Australians out for 60 before lunch on the 1st day of the 4th test. The only thing that wasn't very English was the weather, it was lovely and sunny. Happy days.
