Wednesday 9th July 2014 saw the last ever movement of a C stock train on London Underground. The final move from Hammersmith Depot (the home depot of the fleet) to the London Transport Museum depot at Acton allowed 5 cars to be made ready for scrapping, with one car, 5721, being donated to the museum as a non operational static exhibit.
