My boy is on a campout with Boy Scouts tonight. I was very worried because it snowed all day and I was afraid he would freeze. I try not to be overprotective and super anxious and whatnot, but today I just couldn't help it. My stomach was in knots, my hands were sweaty, I was freaking out without completely freaking out.
This picture was when we dropped him off. I took some pictures of the boys, set the camera in the back of the truck (ok, so it's actually an SUV but I call it a truck) while he was getting his stuff out, I turned on the timer, casually stepped back and when I knew it was about to click I lifted my leg. LMAO I think one of the other fathers saw me, he made a funny look, but I picked up the camera and took some pictures of the boys. :)
It's not snowing anymore, and I have calmed down and am not so stressed anymore. But I feel bad for him because once we got home we realized he had forgotten his snow gloves in the truck, so he only has his little fleece ones...
