Trick or Treat
I had to buy a life sized doll to model this vintage Halloween costume with this awful mask because, well… it was just too good not to use in a photo! Growing up, I never had a store bought Halloween costume. My mom always made us costumes… and sometimes Dad even made them. Mom sewed. Dad was a carpenter. And yes, sometimes he “built” costumes! How I wish I had pictures… Every year there would be a Halloween parade through town, ending at the school where there was a costume contest, Needless to say, my sister and I took home prizes most years! I did the same for my kids, but could never top the costumes that my parents made!
**Tried to add this from my phone last night.. .and it showed up multiple times. Had to delete a few! I guess it's going to be ONE OF THOSE DAYS!!
