Got another chance to see my co-worker's band last night ...so so good ....and really should be playing to packed houses every time they take the stage... but instead, they play small venues in odd places, that are very personal. I never really cared for going to concerts, but I could listen to these guys every day! (of course, it doesn't hurt that Niles told me that Peter said that as long as I bring my camera, I get in for free! LOL! Fortunately Peter doesn't know that I suck at indoor photos and I know nothing about flash. I've got a lot to learn!) But it's been so much fun trying to get a few good shots, and being able to just plop myself down on the floor right in front of the stage. Having a camera is kind of like having a cloak of invisibility.... it pretty much lets you go wherever you want! How cool is that?! And then after the show, Niles introduces me to people and tells everyone that I shot the CD cover.... it's like being a celebrity! A really fun night.... hoping they will play locally again soon.
