Make a Wish!
Well, it's officially your birthday and there are a multitude of things wrong with this shot, but that's what happens because I always wait until the last minute to do things... and then, sometimes the last minute never even comes... and I am left with the best of intentions and nothing to show for it. Tonight I am left with 24 cupcakes, and I suppose some very happy coworkers tomorrow because if I don't bring them to work, it's pretty much a guarantee that I will eat all 24 of them...as I have absolutely no self control when it comes to desserts. But the important thing is that I baked YOU cupcakes. (the unfortunate thing being that you won't get to eat one!)
Anyway.... The gift bag...filled with my wishes for you...
Comfort on difficult days,
Smiles when sadness intrudes,
Rainbows to follow the clouds,
Laughter to kiss your lips,
Sunsets to warm your heart,
Hugs when spirits sag,
Beauty for your eyes to see,
Friendships to brighten your being,
Faith so that you can believe,
Confidence for when you doubt,
Courage to know yourself,
Patience to accept the truth,
Love to complete your life.
They may not be my words, but I mean them from the bottom of my heart. Happy Birthday, Jon.
With Love, Torrie
(oh, and I don't know why the "J" on your card looks like an "L" ...geez...)
