Realistic Patrolman PRO-16A Scanner Radio
A Realistic Patrolman PRO-16A scanning receiver, introduced by Radio Shack in 1975. Catalog/Model number 20-165. An interesting design feature with this scanner are the channel indicators double as lock-out switches. It last appeared in the 1977 Radio Shack catalog.
This particular set was the first PRO-16A model with the UHF band expanded to 485 MHz - the first PRO-16 scanners went to 470 MHz. Later the PRO-16A's coverage would be expanded again to 512 MHz, covering the UHF-T band.
