Inspirational women...
for Social studies, we had to do this research project on inspirational women and how they're inspirtaional to people or the world. they gave us a list of women but i didn't like any of them. some of them were shakira, beyonce, marilyn monroe, harriet tubman, and so on. i told my S.S. teacher, Ms. Dennehy, if i can choose my own. and she told me, sure, so i picked miley cyrus cause she's my role model. I told her, and she was fine with it. When i told my friends, they thought i was playing around, and some of them were like "oh, you're getting an F" and blah, blah, blah <3 so, i had 5 days to write an essay about her childhood and how she accomplished everything and how she's inspirational. it took me 2 days to type my essay. and i typed 1 1/2 pages long. Then, i did my collage. [picture] it looks kinda messy but you HAD to see it in real life. it looked better. plus, i took it with my daddy's phone. x) i seperated them from her clothing line, to her CD'S she's released [including hannah montana], her magazines of 2009, her tours, and her family/ young years. so, the next day, i took it to school, showed it to my friends, and they were like "oh, you were serious?" and were like "F".
when i got to S.S, i handed my essay and my poster. and about, 2 weeks later, i got my grade back and got a 10/10. that's right, an A. i was so happy. my other friends who were bringing me down got b's and c's. i rubbed it in thier faces of course and did a little victory dance xD i was so happy. all my hard work actually paid off(:
