David Lauzon
Meet David Lauzon, a transfer student majoring in accounting and philosophy, from Buffalo, NY; however, he used to travel a lot around North East when he was younger.
He is involved with Newman Catholic Center, #Thomashall Desk Assignment, philosophy club, Humanities Center book club, and Delta Sigma Pi. From his involvement on EIU, David has made a lot of friends and had a few words to say about the #eiufamily and we have become his family.
"My friends and I text each other even when we are traveling over breaks to make sure everyone made it safely. Being so far from home hasn't been hard at all because the friendly welcoming atmosphere here at EIU has truly made this home for me."
It is from this family that he advices #futurepanthers to "not be afraid to reach out of your comfort zone." He also says that Future Panthers will be amazed by the helpful, friendly atmosphere and wish for you to succeed.
