Camryn Krebs

#EIUfamily meet Camryn Krebs, this week's #ResidentofEIU, from Grayslake, Illinois. She is a sophomore majoring in Special Education with the hope to teach high school SpEd in Washington State.

Camryn has found our faculty to be very impactful since she has been here. Camryn perfectly explained, "All of the faculty at EIU want students to succeed, they are so invested in students' academics and genuinely care about how students' are doing and helping them succeed."

Camryn has been involved with many different activities, which she advises #FuturePanthers to do within their first year! She is the President of Ford Hall and is the Mission Advocate for Best Buddies and is on the Concert Committee through UB. Before Camryn was the President of Ford Hall, she was the RHA rep where she "fell in love with leadership and programming and wanted to make Ford an even better hall than it already was!!" Camryn also said being involved on campus has turned out to be the best decision she has ever made besides coming to EIU (of course)! "It helps make campus feel like home, you get involved in things and your voice is heard, you make an impact on campus and get so many fantastic experiences with peers you meet while being involved!" Camryn explained to us.

Camryn would also like to add, "Continue being the amazing individuals you are & thank you to EIU for being the terrific university it is providing so many chances for me to succeed and grow into the person I am becoming!"

Congratulations Camryn! We hope to see succeed and experience more at #EIU while you are here with us!
