Then and Now
The fortune-telling business at the arcade ain't what it used to be.
I have always loved playing these things, ever since I first hung out at Coney Island and Times Square with my two brothers and my dad every Sunday, while we gave mom a day off. I love putting the coin in, hearing it drop and watching the hands, the face and the eyes move, while some cheesy fortune is produced.
It still brings a smile to my face.
