Alyssum white flowers

Alyssum plant is annual with dense clusters of white flowers that bloome the whole growing season.

Alyssum or sweet Alyssum Lobularia maritima belongs to family Brassicaceae.

Alyssum flowers are native to Europe. The plants are small and dilicate, providing a soft border for rock gardens or plant edging. The flowers of the plant ranging in color from white to deep purple, although all species have characteristic tight clusters flowers, and creeping habit which will allow the plant to quickly take over an area of the garden if left uncheked.

Alyssum flowers attractive to bees, butterflies and the plant drought tolerant.
