ForestRanch studio space/Interior

This project is a personal dream come true. It consists of an all cedar post frame salvaged from a logging site that were left for trash.

I chose an old way of infilling the walls called 'Light Clay Straw'. Rice straw mixed lightly with a clay slip and then packed between to forms on either side. This r-value and substrate surface is ideal for beautiful clay plaster finishes.
