The Bentley Continental GT was introduced in 2003, offered as a two-door coupé or convertible, with four seats. It was the first new Bentley released after the company's acquisition by Volkswagen AG in 1998. It was later joined by the Bentley Continental Flying Spur, a four-door saloon car variant.
The first generation built from 2003-2011, the second generation from 2011-2018
This the 2018-24 third generation was lighter and on a longer wheelbase. Unlike prior models, the panels are 'superformed' with heated aluminium sheets molded by gas instead of a stamp.
The Continental GT Speed Coupé got increased W12 power, the interior featured sporty seats and the new Bentley rotating screen.
