1967 Audi Super 90 (F103) Saloon

Auto Union was formed in Germany in 1932 merging four companies; Horch, Audi, Wanderer and DKW, evolving into the modern day Audi company following its takeover by Volkswagen in 1964, also merging with NSU in 1969.

The 1969-72 Audi F103 was derived from the earlier DKW F102. All F103 models were offered as 2 or 4 door sedans and with the exception of the Audi Super 90, were available also as 3 door wagon.

Five models were produced;

1968-72 Audi 60; 54hp 1496cc 4 cyl

1965-69 Audi 72; 71hp 1697cc 4 cyl

1969-72 Audi 75; 74hp 1697cc 4 cyl

1966-69 Audi 80; 79hp 1697cc 4 cyl

1966-72 Audi Super 90; 89hp 1761cc 4 cyl

The Super 90 had good straight line speed, it also had a four-speed, column-mounted transmission and front disc brakes, it was aimed at the executive of the time.

This is one of just 368 right-hand-drive Super 90s exported from Germany to Australia.
