The Prince Motor Company was a Japanese automobile manufacturer from 1952 until its merger with Nissan in 1966
The first generation Gloria, based on the Skyline, was built from 1959-63.
Built from 1962-67, this is the second generation, now not based on the Skyline was available in sedan (S-40) or wagon (W-40), it was on offer with either a 1900cc 4 cyl or for the first time in a Prince, a 2000cc 6 cyl. The styling showing some similarities to the American late 50s Buicks
In 1962 the larger 2500cc 6 cyl was available, the S-44.
In 1966 an update was introduced, the S-41-2 and S-44-2, the grille now had bigger rectangular slots, and as Prince had merged with Nissan in 1966, there was a small Nissan badge on the back.
In non-Asian markets the Gloria was now sold as the Prince B200.
