1928 Ford A Model Roadster Hot Rod
One definition of a Hot Rod was ‘a car that's been stripped down, souped up and made to go much faster.’ A lot of early Hot Rods were built from old Fords; Model Ts, Model As or Model Bs. Typical modifications were the removal of hoods, bumpers and fenders; chopping and channeling the body; and modifying the engine by tuning and/or replacing with a more powerful type.
The Ford Model A was built from 1927-1931, replacing the Model T.
This car stripped of its running boards, fenders and hood, running the period style Ford flathead V8 and 32 grille
