1949 Ford Custom Club Coupe

Ford introduced a new car in 1949, the 1949-51 ‘Shoebox’ Ford. The 49/50 models, were known as the Single Spinner, the 1951 model, the Twin Spinner. (Relating to the number of spinner embellishments in the grille)

1949; Parkers set in central bar of the grille, F O R D letters above the grille.

1950; Parkers below the central bar, Ford crest above the grille. .

Models in 1949 were;

Deluxe; 6 cyl, it had '6' on the spinner in the grille.

Custom,; V8 and '8' on the spinner in the grille, chrome window surrounds.

Available in Tudor and Fordor sedans, Club and Business Coupes, Convertible and two-door Station Wagon

The 1949-51 Ford was also produced in Australia in V8 Sedan and unique to Australia, the Coupe Utility.
