Earth Tones

Taken at Zabriskie Point in Death Valley National Park during a cloudy rainy day. This was actually during the great flood of 2015, when much damage was done to the park.

 

The soft diffused light was perfect for drawing out every single tone and texture of these amazing badlands.

 

Since it was raining, I was using an umbrella to cover myself and (mostly) the camera, to avoid any raindrops on the lens....
