These craft are classed as medium berthing tugs and were found in the dockyards and ports around the UK where naval vessels operate. In addition, two (Airedale and Seallham) were based at Gibraltar. The craft have a bollard pull of 16 tons, which means that two are usually used for FFHs and above.
