The 15th of Rajab

403. If it were not for the Grace of Allah and His Mercy, Allah is Tawaab, The Acceptor of Repentence

وَلَوۡلَا فَضۡلُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَیۡكُمۡ وَرَحۡمَتُهُۥ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ تَوَّابٌ حَكِیمٌ

And if not (for) the Grace (of) Allah upon you and His Mercy - and that, Allah (is) Oft-Returning (to Mercy), All-Wise.

Surah An Nur, Verse 10

Tafseer e Jilani

Then said Subhanahu:

Wa lau la Fadlullahi: Were it not for the Fazal, Favour, of Allah Al Mutalli’i, The Only One All Informed of all the secrets of His Servants…

Alaykum: (that Favour) upon you, O Al Mujtari’ouna, the ones full of courage and determination taking oaths of lies and false witnessing and were it not for Allah restraining His Curse and His Anger…

Wa Rahmatuhu: and (were it for not for) His Mercy upon you i.e. His Compassion and His Affection with veiling and hiding for you your shame and disgrace and the appearance of your sinful wickedness (would have appeared) for sure but (instead) He delays and offers respite to you and puts a cover on you, perhaps that you repent from your exposure of that which is forbidden by Allah and the exiting from the demands of His Limits…

Wa: and know O Mo’minoon, O Believers…

Annallaha: indeed Allah is Al Musleh, The Only One who is the Reformer of your states…

Tawaab-un: The Acceptor of Repentance for you, He gives you the ability for tauba, repentance…

Hakeem-un: He is The Only One with Perfect Wisdom in all His Actions. He is not hasty in revenge so that you become aware of your ugly deeds generated by you and return from your evil acts so you can be successful for that purpose you were created upon.

Prayers for the blessed night

Imam Jafer Sadiq (as) says: Making dua all night is better than praying sala't all night.

Use the words of prayers of Allah's Beloved from the Quran - Rabbana prayers, prayers from the ahadith etc. to capture your need in their need.

Recited by the Imams from the blessed family of the Ahl e Bait in their sajda in prayer:

بعزتك سجدا بقسمتك راضيا

By Your Majesty I prostrate before You,

In my fate You have decreed for me, I am contented and thankful.

Before making the Dua, give a sadqa.

As narrated by Hazrat Salman Farsi (ratu) what was said to him by Nabi Kareem (salutations and greetings upon him and his family by their Lord God):

"O Salman!," he said. "in the middle of the month, you must perform 10 cycles of the salat prayer (10 nafal after Isha).

In each cycle, (each rak'a), you must recite the Opening Surah of the Book, Fatiha, one time only, then the Surah that begins with 'Say: He is Allah...(Surah Ikhlas), and then the Surah that begins with 'Say: O Unbelievers...(Surah Al Kafiroon) three times.

When you have pronounced the final salutation (salam), you must raise your hands and this time you must say:

La ilaha illahu Wahdah

la sharika lah

lahu l-mulku

wa lahu l-hamd

yuhyi wa yumitu

wa Huwa Hayyun la yamut

bi-yadihi l-khairu

wa Huwa ala kulli shai'in Qadeer

There is no Allah except Allah Alone,

No partner has He,

To Him belongs the kingdom,

and to Him belongs the praise.

He brings to life and causes death,

while He is Ever-Living and never dies,

All goodness is in His Hand,

and He is Powerful over all things.

Ilahan Wahidan Ahadan

Samadan Fardan Witra

la yattakhidhu saahibatan

wa la walada

(I worship Him) as Allah, Single, One,

Everlasting, Alone, Unique.

He takes unto Himself

neither female consort nor son.

The Tafseer of Al Kafiroon:

404-409. Surah Al Kafiroon

Say, "O disbelievers!

You do not worship that which I worship

And I will never worship that which you worship,

Neither will you worship that which I worship,

For you (is) your religion, and for me (is) my religion."

Surah Al Kafiroon, Verse 1-6

Tafseer e Jilani

Qul: Say, O Akmal ar Rusul, O Messenger who completes Messengerhood (salutations and greetings upon you and your family most especially by your Lord on this most blessed of nights), declaring for the one who calls you towards the worship of his false god…

Ya ayyuhal Kafiroon: O deniers of truth, the ones who veil the Shams al Haqq, the Sun of Truth, apparent in the selves and the horizons, with clouds of your false personalities.

La a’budu: I will not worship i.e. I will not follow and I will not focus and I will not bend, especially after Allah has granted me the ability for His Tauheed, One-ness, and guided me towards the Sun of His Essence and honoured me with the seeing of His Honourable Being…

Ma ta’budoon: what you worship from the false dieties and the destructive and destitute shadows which you take as gods from your own selves and your ancestors, although indeed, Allah has not sent any clear proof of this – 12/40. Instead you and your ancestors follow them out of opinions and the desires of your nafs, ego, without the coming of any guidance for that has to come from Allah.

Wa la antum: And you will also not…

Abidoona ma abud: worship what I worship which is Al Haqq Al Waheed, The Only Truth, Al Farid, The One Alone, Al Haqeeq, The Only One deserving of worship and obedience permanently and He is Alone in this because there is no god with Him and there is nothing like Him that can be associated with Him in His Special Attributes which are His being Lord because you do not have the capacity and you do not have the capability in having faith in Him and possessing certainty in His One-ness and His Permanence in His Kingdom and Control and on top of this He has not granted you the ability upon it (believing in His One-ness) and it is not in your fate.

Wa: And overall…

La ana abidum ma abadtum: I will not worship what you worship because they do not deserve to be God so that I could worship them.

Wa la antum abidoona ma abud: and you will not worship what I worship because imaan, faith is not available to you and you are not informed about His Being and you are not characterized by His Ma’rifat, Recognition and His Shahood, Witnessing, so how can your worship Allah Al Wahid Al Ahad As Samad without love from His Side and ability from Him?

And I will also not worship your false gods which are distant from the rank of being Lord and deserving worship.

And overall:

Lakum deenakum: for you is your religion which you are on and your way of worship which you focus upon after not being granted ability from Al Haqq for guidance and faith.

Wa liyya deen: and for me is my religion which I am upon. Don’t leave your religion for my religion and I will also not leave my religion for your religion. Instead for you is your religion and for me my religion and taufeeq, ability, is in the Control of Allah, along with guidance and waywardness.
