New Years Eve has had a double meaning for me over the years, it was my wedding anniversary so traditionally a double celebration. Last year I went to shoot the sunset on my own and while the photo shoot itself was beautiful, it was a lonely venture. This year, I packed up Micah and we went to the beach together with my parents. This is the first beach sunset Micah has been to. I was nervous to take him as it was a hot day, New Years Eve and later than he usually stays out. But he had an absolute ball. He ran in and out of the water and was filled with joy to be running free with the other children and adults surrounding him. So here is to new memories, new adventures for Micah and I and days filled with love, happiness and courage. Happy New Year to everyone from Micah and I 💕
