Chimney Rock and the Rock

This is the Chimney Rock at Owl Creek Pass. The huge rock in the field is the one in the True Grit movie that John Wayne's horse was shot fell down by.

 

Owl Creek Pass road is beautiful drive with many aspens on it. This year we were just a little early, With limited time, you just can't always see them. Most cars should be able to do this road, all there is washboard areas on the road.
