Visual Instructions
The problem I got to solve in this project was to create a set of instructions for a specific environment without any words. I chose the sauna, evaluated what people did in there, (socializing and relaxing) and made instructions for giving a scalp massage. Another problem we had to overcome was only using non-digital methods, so I took photos of the wood in the sauna, printed them out, collaged them with drawings of how to give some one a scalp massage, and spent about $15 at the colored photocopier to get this lovely finished product. It was fun, but expensive.
