Smooth Harbour

Welcome to Sydney Harbour at sunset, where it's always smooth.

And so here is Santana, featuring Rob Thomas, with the ultra cool song: 'Smooth' (1999):

"It's just like the ocean under the moon.

And it's the same as the emotion that I get from you.

Because you're so smooth!"

So, on the harbour this evening are the 'Alexander' and the 'Fishburn' - two of the smoothest ferries.

This is the T4 Pyrmont Bay Ferry Service, connecting Darling Harbour & Barangaroo to the city via Balmain East, McMahons Point and Milsons Point (Luna Park).

Both of these ferries are 'First Fleet' class Sydney Ferry catamarans.

In the distance is the very cool Jones Bay Wharf Precinct, at Pyrmont, home to Sydney's super yachts. In the far distance is the ANZAC bridge. Zoom in to see the super yachts.

Photographed at sunset from the headland at the Blues Point Reserve, right beside the Blues Point Tower. At the southern (harbour) end of Blues Point Road, near McMahons Point.
