Highway Star

Welcome to my city of Sydney.

It's the Bradfield Highway which leads straight to the city.

Photographed from the top of the south-eastern pylon of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

A short stroll up 36 flights of stairs - loving it, lol.

And here's the brilliant 'Deep Purple' from 1972 with the definitive highway song. It is, of-course, 'Highway Star':

So if you zoom in you can see, to the left, all of 'The Rocks' Campbells Cove and Circular Quay: to the right you can see Millers Point and the Walsh Bay Wharf Precinct. In the far distance is Darling Harbour and the ANZAC bridge.

Directly below you can see the Cahill Walkway (left of the highway) from where I take my photos of the harbour, the Opera House, and the fireworks and lasers at night.

My Canon EOS 5D Mk IV with the Canon EF 16-35mm f/4L IS ISM lens.

Processed in Adobe Lightroom and PhotoPad Pro by NCH software.
