Party Rock Anthem

My photograph of the Vivid Sydney 2024 fireworks, re-edited today in Adobe Lightroom to reduce the smoke and enhance the glam, lol

And here's Redfoo and LMFAO with their electric track 'Party Rock Anthem' to capture Sydney's party mood on the occasion of these fireworks:

Photographed from half-way along the Sydney Harbour Bridge walkway, about 50 metres from the south-eastern pylon - right beside the Cahill Expressway.

I rested the camera on the level section of the harbour bridge pedestrian guard rail.

It was a chaotic scene with SO many photographers on the bridge but I got there early enough, having parked the car at Lavender Bay (on Lavender Street). I then walked across the bridge, via a Flat White Coffee, as well as a pear & macadamia tart, at Kirribilli's Oski cafe.

I chose the 24-105mm lens over my normal choice for harbour & city shots, the 16-35mm lens, in order to get a bit more detail in the buildings and the Quay. I am not sure that it worked. Ideally I would like to get a 24-200mm lens.

My Canon EOS 5D Mk IV with the Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L lens.

Processed in Adobe Lightroom and PhotoPad Pro by NCH software.
