The Cockatoo Island Ferry

It's late afternoon on Sydney Harbour.

The Cockatoo Island ferry is passing by the Walsh Bay Wharf Precinct on its way to Circular Quay.

This ferry has come from Cockatoo Island, Woolwich, Birchgrove and Balmain. This is the F8 ferry service.

I have actually taken this photograph with my Canon EF 75-300mm zoom lens from miles away on the northern side of the harbour at the Berrys Bay Lookout - at the end of Larkin Street, in Waverton. Not far from McMahons Point.

So you can zoom in to see the details on the city buildings, plus all the historic piers that comprise the Walsh Bay Wharf Precinct. This, btw, is the precinct from which I take a lot of my harbour sunset images.

My Canon EOS 5D Mk IV with the Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 lens.

Processed in Adobe Lightroom and PhotoPad Pro by NCH software.
