Liquidambar

A Liquidambar tree at Dural (near Galston) in the Hills District of Sydney. Located in a garden setting along Galston Road, near the corner of Carters Road, Dural.

Liquidambars, aka Sweetgum, Redgum, Satin-Walnut, or American Storax, are native to North America, but have colonised most of the Hills District of Sydney and are now the predominant Autumn tree across north-western Sydney.

Photographed on Monday of this week: Monday 6th May, 2024.

My Canon EOS 5D Mk IV with the Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L lens.
