Last night in Sydney. Just after midnight.
Sunday, 17th September, 2023.
So last night I went to the Harlequin Inn at Pyrmont, near Star City and Darling Harbour, to watch GWS (Greater Western Sydney) play Port Adelaide in the AFL semi-final, on their huge Foxtel screens. GWS won!! And now they play Collingwood in the preliminary final next Friday at the MCG. That will be tough.
Here's 'The Harlequin':
After the game I left the car on Harris Street (living dangerously, lol) and walked down to Darling Harbour to take some night shots. I ended up at 1.00am on the Jones Bay Wharf, in a deserted dockland precinct (but with views across the harbour to the city!) before I realised how time had escaped!!
