Ranunculus 'Romantica'

Well it's now Autumn - although you would not know that today in Sydney where, in the Hills District, it is nearly 40 degrees celsius. The hottest day in two years. Wonderful.

Global warming - it has to be!

 

But anyway, it's time to order your bulbs from the nurseries in Victoria or Tasmania, or go to Bunnings!!

 

This is a variegated pastel pink & white 'Romantica' ranunculus

aka 'Ranunculus asiaticus'

 

Dating back to medieval times, this variety of ranunculus derives from gardens in countries around the Mediterranean Sea. But in 2023 it is now available through most nurseries that ship the bulbs to you in Autumn (which, of-course, is right now!)
