Underneath the radar

Looking north across the Parramatta River to Meadowbank, in western Sydney. Photographed at sunset from amid the mangroves at John Whitton Reserve (Mill Park) Rhodes. The bridge above (on the right) is the John Whitton Bridge built in 1886.

The other bridge (on the left) is the more modern railway crossing of the Parramatta River. They both allow the T9 Main Northern Railway Line to cross the river.
