Alley cat
I discovered this cat in an alley at Milson's Point, Sydney, on Saturday evening, as I went on my mega trek around Lavender Bay, on Sydney harbour, and then back up to where the car was parked at North Sydney.
The cat, which looks like it has been in a few wars, was sitting peacefully on this olive green structure, located outside a small pocket of public housing buildings in the back-streets of Milson's Point, near Lavender Bay.
I was very surprised to see this cat because it was nearly dusk. And it actually meowed at me!!! How wonderful - I wanted to take it home (because I am now looking to get a new cat, or kitten, because it has been quite a while since Fritz, my ginger cat, passed away) but I thought that maybe somebody feeds it!!
But this cat has no collar and no bell. So I don't know. Maybe I can go back and see if it is still there?
My Canon EOS 5D Mk IV, with the Canon 16-35mm lens.
Not the right lens for a cat portrait, but I did not want the cat to disappear while I changed lenses!!!
Seen and photographed last Saturday evening, 30th January, 2021.
