Sunset at Manly

Looking south from Manly Wharf across Sydney harbour.

Today, Saturday 1st August, 2020, at sunset.

I had attended the rugby match at Manly Oval today between the Manly Marlins and Northern Suburbs. It was a good result as I am from the northern suburbs of Sydney!! But Manly were unlucky with their missed penalty goals.

After the game we walked through Manly, along the Corso, to the wharf and Sydney harbour. At the wharf I stopped momentarily to catch the last rays of sunshine across Sydney harbour, with the Samsung mobile phone camera.

We eventually found a very cool Italian-style cafe/bar - The Belgrave Cartel - which made awesome flat white coffee and hot chocolate, and had the coolest 'senior lady' waitresses ever. They were amazing - dressed in stylish black. Not to mention that this cafe featured an eclectic menu with Brazilian dishes such as 'Feijoada'. Quite interesting. And even more interesting, one of the waitresses likes flower photography - I was so impressed!! And we talked about geraniums - how absolutely, unexpectedly, cool after an afternoon at the rugby.
