Late afternoon at Fairlight, on Sydney harbour
Looking south-west across the harbour from the Fairlight foreshore, along the Fairlight to Manly walkway (North harbour walk) late this afternoon - a sunny winter's day in Sydney. Photographed with my Samsung Galaxy S20+ mobile phone camera (wide angle lens), because I had loaded up the car with the new Canon 5D Mk IV and two lenses with the intention of taking my first lot of harbour shots of Manly and Fairlight with this new camera, but then discovered that I had taken out both memory cards last night and failed to reinstall them in the camera. No points to Gryffindor House!!
Anyway, the Fairlight to Manly walkway is one of my favourite harbourside locations in Sydney!!
There is a magical rock platform, with rock pools, etc, to explore alongside the harbour. This section of the harbour is also known as Fairlight Bay. It provides wonderful shelter for dozens of yachts.
My daughters loved to explore the rock platform when they were younger!
