Reading Rainbow
30.365 As a child, I grew up watching Sesame Street, Mr. Dress-up, Penner's Place, The Friendly Giant, Today's Special, The Reading Rainbow, and the list can go on, but I won't!
The point is that what I watched as a child were they wall educational shows catered toward children. I always like Reading Rainbow because it had Levar Burton from Star Trek who played Jordie LaForge. I guess I was amused because he actually didn't wear the visors during the show and he wasn't blind.
But I think reading is very important, if not the most important thing you can teach a child, because without I would imagine it being very difficult to learn. So if there's one thing that I will teach my children at a very young age that would be to read and to enjoy it. I wasn't exactly the biggest fan of reading, but now as I get older, I seem to do more and more of it. I guess university had something to do with it, where I had to do a lot of reading. I guess I just kind of got used to it!
But for those who are following my blog, this is my third book of 2010 and my third book by Paulo Coleho. I like his books because he talks about dreaming and doing things that you often forget about when you grow up. Although, this book was more about love and forgiveness. It's a good read but not as good as "The Alchemist," which was the first book I read.
Now about the shot, it was pretty simple, the hardest thing was getting Suzuki to stay in that pose. I shot it with available light against the piano in my house.
