When we were just going over the project sheet for this assignment, everyone was saying that foam core board was hard to work with. After completing this assignment, I agree in full.
I had so many plans for this project. Plans that fell short because of inability to manipulate the board like I wanted to. I do think that if I had better equipment, and maybe the right glue, that I would have done somewhat better in this assignment.
There is one thing that I have learned however. Never, ever again will I attempt anything in foam core board unless it is for a grade. It is just so difficult to work with, and I enjoy other materials much more. I might even venture to say that I would use masking tape again before I would pick up foam core board!
