Black-throated Gray Warbler (f)

This extremely rare visitor to Eastern Canada helped to brighten an otherwise gloomy day. Apparently only the second time this species has been seen in Ottawa. This warbler breeds in western North America and winters in Mexico and the southwestern United States. Not sure how she ended up in Ottawa but I and fellow photographers and birders alike were happy that she did.
