Elk in front of Terraces

Elk like to roam on the lawns of Mammoth since Kentucky Bluegrass is such a high commodity. Considering this is a rainshadow and bluegrass is not native to the area, the elk are always in for a treat. The lawn is maintained for the historical purposes of Fort Yellowstone.
